Yum

Right now, I would really love to have a buffalo chicken baja wrap with lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing, as well as some golden brown french fries.

I've already decided that after my treatments conclude and I can eat again, I'm going to become a fat guy.

Nothing wrong with that....I was a fat girl for years!

On the serious side, David, today's gospel reading and sermon was all about the power of prayer. Never doubt it for a minute. You are in the prayers of so many, even folks who don't even know you. As those of us do know & love you reach out to our loved ones for prayers for you, it's like ripples in the lake, extending out further and further.

I'm looking forward to when you're back to work, David, and we can go out for another one of our delicious pre-implementation-meeting dinners, multi-courses of course!
And who says you can't have dessert as an appetizer!

Keep fighting, David. You are not alone.

WOW Dave, that looks great. That's really something to look forward to. Go for it!!!!!
It won't be long. Before you know it you'll be back to eating everything you love. Your grocery bill will be out of sight!!!
You just keep hanging in there!!
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going" and you ARE tough!! We're all praying for you and can't wait until you post that the treatments are over and you're cancer free!!!! What a wonderful day that will be.
Love & Hugs, Nancy

Let us know when your ready for that wrap.
I'm sure everyone who has been praying and supporting you will join you -- we'll pack out the restaurant!!

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. Job 23:10
Waiting for the day you will shine as gold!

Keep fighting,
Alyson

Hi Dave, Mimi here. Read about your plans to get fat - I've known you to too many years to think you have a snowball's chance in hell to do that! You and your Mom are the only people I know who can eat all day and not gain an ounce. You remain in my prayers, and the prayers of many others for a recovery. I know how difficult the chemo and radiation can be, and appreciate your honesty in sharing your experiences with others. It is so helpful to other cancer patients to get a little reality check from someone who knows. You are an incredible young man with faith, wisdom, a loving wife and family, and an army of friends fighting with you. I am humbled by your strength and faith.

Love. Mimi
